Precedence Core is our own business operating system. It runs an entire operation from a single record — sales, stock, procurement, finance, people and reporting — connected, rather than bundled together and left to be reconciled.

Most systems described as integrated are a set of modules that share a login. The difference shows in what one entry does: whether the rest of the operation moves with it, or whether somebody keys it again somewhere else.

Built for a sector, not for everyone.

The parts every operation shares are the same underneath. What differs is the sector: how a fuel station reconciles wet stock, how a utility bills consumption, what a clinic has to record and keep. Those are configured on top rather than approximated by a generic template.

Questions we are asked.

Do we have to buy Core to work with you?
No, and most engagements do not involve it. Our consulting work stands on its own — process design, technology decisions, systems built on something else entirely. Core is the evidence that we can build one, not a condition of working together.
Is it a product or a platform we would be built on?
Both, depending on the engagement. Where an operation is close to what Core already does, it is configured. Where a sector needs something materially different, Core is the foundation and the sector-specific work is built on top.
Who owns the data?
You do, and it is exportable. A system that makes leaving difficult is a commercial strategy rather than a technical constraint, and we do not build for that.
Which industries is it running in?
Sector configurations exist for gas retail, healthcare, manufacturing and water utilities. Where a sector is not yet built, the underlying platform is the same and the sector-specific work is scoped in the engagement.
